Contractor:  I do recommend hiring a licensed contractor to oversee your remodel if you will be doing a full bathroom remodel.  A  renovation requires coordination of multiple trades—plumber, electrician, flooring installer, cabinet installer, countertop fabricator, and more. A reputable contractor has trusted subcontractors, can manage the schedule, and will monitor quality at each step. Their experience (and fee, typically around 20%) is worth the peace of mind.
