Interior Design for New Builds and Renovations. Nationwide, online.

You don't need a designer for everything

Only for the parts you want help with

Most homeowners building a custom home or undertaking a significant renovation have a builder and a vision. What they do not have is someone who understands both the design and the process — someone to catch the floor plan problems before framing, review the allowances before the loan closes, and guide selections in the right order before the contractor needs an answer.

That is where I work.

I am Starla Campbell, an interior designer who has built four homes, remodeled two, and lived in twenty.

I work with homeowners nationwide, entirely online, to help them make the decisions that define a build — before construction makes them costly to change.

 Work With Me

Every project starts with a consultation. I look at your plans, your selections, and where you actually are, then tell you what you need and what you do not.

What I do

  • Overall Design Direction
  • Plan and Allowance Reviews and Revisions
  • Space Planning and Furniture Layouts
  • Selections, Finishes, and Furnishings
  • Millwork Design and Elevations

What I don't do

  • Project Management
  • Construction Management
  • Order Management
  • Installation
  • Styling

From there we scope the work to your project. Some clients need one afternoon on a floor plan. Some work with me across an entire build. You will not pay for a phase you don't need.

Already under construction?

That is the most common way people find me.

Mid build is not too late. Bring me the decision in front of you.

If your builder needs an answer this week, say so when you book.

You keep your project. I keep you from getting it wrong.
