I have built four homes of my own. Remodeled two. Lived in twenty.
That is not a marketing line. It means I have stood in a half framed house under contractor pressure and made the exact decisions you are facing. It also means I have gotten things wrong.
My cooktop sits in the island and I never ran 220 power to it, so induction is off the table now. My marble sinks are beautiful and a maintenance problem I think about every week. I would put the laundry inside my closet instead of next to it.
None of those were taste problems. They were decisions I made without thinking far enough ahead about how the house would actually live.
That is the work. Catching the handful of decisions that will bother you for twenty years.
How I work
I do not project manage. I rarely order for you. I do not install. I do not style. Those are the most labor intensive parts of traditional design, and they are most of what makes a design fee what it is. They also do not make your house better.
What I do is make sure the decisions are right before they are permanent, and size the work to what you actually need. Sometimes that is an entire build. Sometimes it is one afternoon on a floor plan.
I work entirely online and serve clients nationwide. My services are structured to meet you where you are — whether you need a design framework you can execute independently, expert eyes on your specific plans, or a complete design roadmap your builder can follow.
